Desert Trekking
After a delicious breakfast you start your Bedouin Adventure with a highlight - a 4–6 hour guided trek through the desert
your guides will brew fresh tea, prepare meals, and help you slow down to take in the silence and beauty of the red desert.
Pause beneath the shade of an acacia tree or a red stone overhang, where your Bedouin guides prepare a traditional lunch over hot coals. Sip sweet mint tea, listen to stories of nomadic life, and rest in the sacred silence of the desert.

Do I need the Jordan Pass for this tour?
For this tour you do not explicitly need the Jordan Pass though the entrance fees are included - but you can easily purchase a Entrance Ticket for Wadi Rum at the Visitor Center. (7 JOD per person)
What should I bring on this Jordan tour?
We recommend bringing:
Comfortable walking or Trekking shoes
Light, breathable clothing, long clothes (cultural reasons)
A warm jacket (for evenings especially in winter or Spring)
Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat
Reusable water bottle, TorchBank (you can recharge your devices in the camp)
(Jordan uses Type C, D, F, G plugs)
What is the best season to travel to Jordan?
The best time to visit Jordan is March–May and September–November,
when the weather is mild and ideal for sightseeing.
Summer (June–August): Very hot, especially in Petra and Wadi Rum
Winter (December–February): Cooler, with cold nights in the desert
Is this tour suitable for families and seniors?
The Tour at Day 2 can be modified. At Day 1 light hiking and trekking is possible but not mandatory.
What type of accommodation is included?
You will stay in authentic Desert camps in the protected Area with shared bathroom . You sleep in comfy beds with bedlinen & towels.
Is a guide included?
Yes our tours are guided by our local Bedouins.
What currency is used in Jordan?
The local currency is the Jordanian Dinar (JOD). Credit cards are widely accepted in hotels and restaurants, but we recommend carrying some cash for small purchases and tips.
Is Jordan safe for tourists?
Yes. Jordan is considered one of the safest countries in the Middle East and is very welcoming to tourists. Tourist areas such as Petra, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea are well-organized and secure. At any Touristic Spot you can find an office of the Tourist Police. They have an Office at the Wadi Rum Visitor Center as Well.
What should I wear in Jordan?
Jordan is relatively liberal, but modest clothing is recommended:
Light long pants or skirts
T-shirts or tops covering shoulders
Swimwear is acceptable at the Dead Sea and hotel pools
How physically demanding is this tour?
The tour is moderate in activity level. The most demanding day is Petra,
which involves walking on uneven paths. Comfortable footwear is essential.
